Tunnel

This weekend I had the chance to walk through a tunnel where in a few days (18/05/2015) a tram will be riding. The tunnel itself was made in 1977, it’s called Reuzenpijp (Giant Pipe), think you’ll understand why! The new line is line number 8 and it starts at the park & ride in Wommelgem. Interesting for visitors to park for free at the parking and the tram gets you to the centre of Antwerp. It rides 8 times per hour.

Light

Specially for the walks in the tunnel, they asked light artists Arf & Yes for a show inside the tunnel. They played especially with the roundness of the tunnel and it was spectacular, I’ve got the pictures to proof it.
